Walk the Walk

It was October 20th, early in the morning when Oma Yusma said: "Hayley, Hopla, opstaan?"

She stood up... man up... and then WALK! she took 7 steps. Seven bouncy steps... But boy I was happy as heaven fell on earth!

She did it. She finally thought: "I am old enough to do it on my own, mam." There will be many times when she will say this things again, even straight forward to my face or in another grumpy sentence(s).

She grows so fast. Please do not grow so fast and want to let go... I guess that's life as a parent. You really need to learn how to let go, even when she's still a toddler.
